Transportation is a huge barrier for cancer patients who need to complete their treatment programs. Spokane has an active patient transportation program to assist patients as they travel to and from their treatment facilities. The American Cancer Society is actively recruiting more drivers to expand the program and provide more assistance to patients. Volunteers will receive all necessary training to be successful.
Requirements: Drivers must be age 19-80, pass a background check and possess a vehicle and auto insurance.
