Front desk volunteers answer phones, greet guests, handle mailings, sell goods in our small nature shop, answer bird-related questions, call to welcome new members, and are essential to running the Adriana Hess Wetland Center and providing open hours for visitors.

The Adriana Hess Wetland center is ADA accessible and right on the 2 and 53 buslines, just 20 minutes walk from the TCC transit center.

There’s a minimum commitment of 2 days a month for the front desk, but beyond that, volunteer shifts are flexible! Choose whatever days and shifts work best for your schedule.

Front desk volunteers sometimes also help outdoors with restoration, projects and volunteer work parties in the park.
