Volunteers Needed - Butterfly Wonderland

Do you want to share your passion about the natural world with others? Do you enjoy butterflies and are fascinated with how bees buzz, the world of reptiles and amphibians or how string rays swim so effortlessly? If so, positions are now open for volunteers that would like to support its programs by providing interactive, hands-on tours to general visitors, school groups and adult tours.

The duties for these docent positions will include greeting visitors; answering questions, providing brief information when guests are visiting Conservatory, Bee, Spineless Giants exhibits, Rainforest Reptiles and Tropical Waters displays; and ensuring that the visitor experience is positive and informative. Volunteer positions are open for both morning and afternoon shifts. Training will be provided.
