Familuy Reentry Youth Mentoring is a long-standing and unique mentoring program which has been serving children and youth who are impacted by parental incarceration. The program has recently expanded and is also serving youth who are involved in the Juvenile Justice system. Our mission is to enhance the resiliency of children through caring relationships and supportive interactions. One-to-one mentoring is provided on a school base or community base model. Consistent mentor visits provide a positive adult-child relationship which helps to foster positive development in at-risk children and youth.

Seeking adult volunteer mentors in the Greater Bridgeport, Norwalk & Stamford areas who can commit to giving 1.5 to 2 hours per week as a community based mentor, or 1 hour a week as a school based mentor.

Ongoing program support for mentors and opportunities for group activities are provided.
