Project: VISION is a small grassroots organization located in the Chinatown/Bridgeport community on the near south side of Chicago. We provide free after school programs such as tutoring, college application help, and community service projects to youth ages 12-18.

Since 2004, we've served over 500 community youth, but want to reach out to even more! To accomplish this, we are working to grow our Board of Directors, which is currently composed of 10 dedicated professionals. We are looking for additional enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about youth development to help us grow our nonprofit organization.

Useful experience/skills/traits include: professional experience (8+ years), some board experience, project management, fundraising, knowledge of accounting/finance, marketing, networking, team player with outgoing personality.

Time commitment varies, but typical board members spend an estimated 15-20 hours per month (including board meetings, committee meetings, events, etc.).
