Volunteer in a fun gift shop by cashiering and helping customers. Gift shop also supports cancer patients with hats, lotions, Coobie Bras and scarves for sale. Gift shop volunteers will ring up sales, stock merchandise, direct lost visitors, and provide a cheerful presence for all shoppers. Various schedule openings, M-F. 8:30 am to 12 noon, or Noon - 3:30 pm. Retail experience helpful. Training provided. All volunteers must pass background check and health screening, provided free of charge. Benefits include free parking, free beverage in Cafe and discount in Gift Shop.
Ages 16 & up for 3:30 - 5:30 shifts and ages 18 and up for all other shifts.
Volunteers make a 6 month commitment, helping once a week.
Gift Shop volunteers are supported with comprehensive training and will train with other volunteers and staff and show proficiency in using cash register, and counting American money before being alone at cash register.
