Look no further - the Cedar Rapids Public Library has the perfect opportunity for you!
Join our on-call Library Volunteer Corps and be eligible to help at special programs and events. The Corps go through the regular volunteer process, but are contacted on an as-needed basis for events such as children craft programs, teen cooking events, adult speaker series, summer reading programs, and special community events.
Once you are registered, you'll be contacted as needed to help out at special library events. Many of these programs take place during the evening or on weekends. You can say "YES" as often as you like...but know that saying "no" is also an option! This is about getting involved at a pace that is right for you!
