Come be a part of the most exciting part of a child’s day and help them achieve and excel in school, learn social skills and have fun! Whether your passion is in creative activities or academically-minded, we have a role for you.
Our after-school program is the hub of children’s weekly program through 6:00 PM. The core principle is to insure the children progress and excel in school and growth. It is also a time to learn social skills and have fun daily activities. Wednesday evening creative ministries such as brass band, drums, guitar, sacred dance, arts & crafts, etc. are taught also.
Volunteer tutors will provide clarity, direction, and understanding within the child’s homework and have a basic knowledge of school subjects. Volunteers can also be self-directed to teach music, arts & crafts projects, sports, cookery, or come up with your own ideas and within your natural skills. Volunteers should lead with enthusiasm and confidence and encourage the children to do their best work and participate in other activities.
Volunteer training includes a volunteer registration, Protecting the Mission policies and background check.
Thank you for your gift of time and service!
