Can you work comfortably with the public? Are you skilled in an office setting? Would you be willing to assist with events like fairs and parades?

Fire District 1 (FD1) can use help from someone who can work independently but is open to taking direction, is willing to perform a variety of clerical tasks and is available to help FD1 at various public events.

You need to be computer literate, able to use computer programs (Word, Excel etc), can answer phones and understand a multiple phone line system, are physically capable of standing, bending and stooping as the job requires.

You must pass a formal background check, allow FD1 access to your driving record (if you are to drive FD1 vehicles) and possess a valid WA drivers license.

Generally this is a Monday through Friday 8:00-4:00 job. Evenings and weekends are required on occasion.
