**All volunteers must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Proof of vaccination is required. Masks will also continue to be worn by all staff, volunteers and donors.

Volunteer Site Pickup Drivers Needed to bring product to Davenport Lab for processing.
Mileage is Reimbursed!! Time off when needed!!

Choose one of our available recurring assignments:

    • Every Other Sunday Burlington Site 12:00pm
    • Mondays Burlington Site 3:00 pm pickup with stop in Muscatine
    • Tuesdays Burlington Site 3:00 pm pickup with stop in Muscatine
    • Every Other Friday Burlington Site 10:30 am pickup
    • Saturdays Burlington Site 10:30am
      • Every Other Saturday morning, additional stop in Muscatine
    • Saturdays Burlington Site 1:30 pickup

**Volunteer On-Call Driver needed to help with Mobile &/or Site pickups in Burlington/Ft Madison area, as well as specimen pickups at a local hospital. Delivery to Davenport Lab
  • Not a recurring assignment. Volunteers are called, on an as-needed basis.
  • Flexible Schedule - You decide when we call you!

Drivers receive a new Volunteer Driver polo at no cost. Orientation and Training at Davenport location.

Description

The Blood Center is a volunteer-based organization that involves volunteer blood donors, a voluntary board of trustees, and community volunteers. Volunteers provide a much needed and valued service to our donors, patients and staff. We serve over 115 hospitals in 4 states and utilize volunteers from many areas to assist in our operations. Headquarters for the organization, as well as component processing, is located in Davenport, Iowa.
