Resolutions Hospice is looking for caring people who can provide emotional support and spend time with Hospice patients at a facility near the Austin/Dripping Springs border. This is a VERY flexible volunteer need requiring less an hour either once a week or every other week. We can work with almost any schedule.
Patient Care Volunteers can provide:
- companionship (conversation, reading, listening to music, watching TV, arts & crafts, etc)
- listening
- emotional support

Hospice is a higly specialized care model for patients who have a life limiting illness and no longer want aggressive curative treatment.
The Resolutions Hospice team provides support for patients and families with:
- Nursing Care
- Physician
- Social Workers
- Chaplains
- Home Health Aides
- Volunteers
Resolutions Hospice provides care to patients and their families throughout Central Texas. Our goal is to match our volunteers with patients who are located close to them.
