If you are energetic, willing and able to engage with the public, and attend outreach events to promote a great service then we want you on our team! 2-1-1 Yolo is creating a special team of 5-10 volunteers to attend promotional events and educate the public about 2-1-1.

Requirements include excellent customer service skills, willingness to work as part of a team, and a desire to serve. Training will be provided by 2-1-1 Yolo staff and those who complete training will then be able to go out into the community and share the message of 2-1-1 and its benefits for Yolo County.

2-1-1 is a community service provided by the Department of Employment and Social Services and Yolo County Library that connects people with resources they need, and is a nationwide effort in all states. The service has been around nationwide for several years but recently celebrated its 1 st birthday here in Yolo County. You can make a tremendous difference in a life by sharing the importance and benefits of this service to fellow community members. For more information please email Victoria.lewis@yolocounty.org, or call (530) 666-8004.
