Fostering cats in need is a wonderful way to help Tucson2Tails create more space for needy animals, and it’s a great way to enjoy the many benefits of having a pet in your life without the long-term commitment. Although fostering cats in need can be fun and rewarding, it can also be demanding and challenging. We are looking for experienced cat caretakers.
If you are interested in fostering for Tucson2Tails, please visit the Volunteer page on our website and download a Foster Application. After we have processed the application, we will contact you to schedule a foster parent interview and orientation. Thank you for your interest, we look forward to hearing from you.
Required:
Long term experience with cat care and cat socialization
Spare room separate from household pets
Driver’s license/insured auto for transport

Description
Tucson2Tails (T2T), founded in March 2012, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal welfare organization located in Tucson, Arizona. Since its inception, T2T has worked with local shelters and animal welfare networks in the community to rescue hundreds of sick, injured, or orphaned cats and kittens at risk of euthanasia. Our rescued cat and kittens are housed in foster homes so they all receive direct quality care and attention.
Animal rescue is a time consuming and expensive endeavor that requires many volunteers, foster homes, financial contributions and donations. Whatever you can do helps! We are proud of all we have accomplished and look forward to continued success serving our Tucson feline community. We believe in a second chance.
