Wheaton Franciscan Hospice is a non-profit Catholic hospice that is seeking volunteers for a variety of opportunities.

Volunteerism is a key piece of our hospice team approach and its philosophy. It is only through the selfless donation of time and skill from members of our community that allows the hospice experience to live up to its full potential.

Volunteers in hospice serve a varied role and serve many functions depending on skills, availability, and desire. The possibilities are far reaching and some examples may include: playing music for a family, playing chess with a patient, crafting cards to send to bereaved family members, knitting a quilt for a patient, or keeping a patient company while a family member takes a much needed break to go for a walk or to the store.

WFH Hospice Volunteers can be assured of a thorough orientation process, a variety of unique opportunities, and an experience that is both life-enriching and fulfilling.

Opportunities are available in most Southeastern Wisconsin communities, Wheaton Franciscan Hospitals and Nursing Homes
