About

In May, June, September, and October Lake Educator Assistants volunteer alongside naturalists assisting youth with lake science activities aboard pontoon boats on beautiful Squam Lake. Lake Education Assistants help children collect water samples, do testing, and collect data. May and June are the busiest months. No experience is necessary. Lake Education Assistants must complete a 2-hour training session scheduled for April 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Observation sessions are available for volunteer trainees until they feel ready to assist with groups.
