More than 20,000 Sacramento Seniors are at risk of abuse and/or neglect, or are unable to care for their own needs. This is an excellent opportunity for community members to volunteer to serve as Home Visitors and provide an "extra pair of eyes and ears" for Senior and Adult Services staff. Home visitors check clients' well being, provide companionship, and assist with shopping and appointments, recreation, community resources, and other activities. volunteers visit each client from 1-4 hours each week. May have minimum of one client or up to five clients per week to visit. Opportunities are available throughout Sacramento County. You may choose an area close to your home.
