Join us and over 500 participants for our annual 10K on the Bay Race/Walk. Volunteers are critical to the success of the popular race. We need volunteers to assist us on race day with registration, refreshment tables, finish line and information tables. This is always a fun event with a great atmosphere. Volunteers are asked to come to a pre-race orientation meeting on either August 17th at 10am or August 21st at 10AM and will receive an event T-shirt to wear race day! Proceeds from this event benefit the creation of the Janice and Frank Delfino Wetland Habitat Room.

Perched on stilts above a salt marsh, the Hayward Shoreline Interpretive Center is your introduction to the ecology of the San Francisco Bay-Estuary. The Interpretive Center features exhibits, programs and activities designed to inspire a sense of appreciation, respect and stewardship for the Bay, its inhabitants and the services they provide.
