Meals on Wheels Anderson is in need of additional volunteer meal packers at our facility in Anderson! Specifically on Tuesday, Thursdays and Fridays.
As a meal packer, you would help us prepare the meals that go out into the community! Meal packing starts around 8:15 M-F, and typically takes about 1-2 hours depending upon the day. This is a great way to build connections with other volunteers in the community. For safety purposes, we require closed toe shoes and if you have long hair please secure it back.
We can also accommodate groups up to 17 people! Please reach out to me if you would like to get a group scheduled!

Our mission is that no disabled or elderly home bound individual in Anderson County goes hungry. We deliver nutritious meals to those individuals in need and help build community awareness and support.
Description
Meals on Wheels delivers over 400 meals a day to elderly or disabled Anderson County residents. Individuals who rely on the community for nutritional support because they are home bound and unable to prepare a meal for themselves.
