The Fox Valley Special Recreation Foundation is hosting the BBQ, Root Beer, and Basket Raffle. Proceeds from the event support programs and services provided to people with disabilities by the Fox Valley Special Recreation Association. Volunteers will assist with greeting guests, ticketing, food preparation, meal runners, and more.

Mission Statement
Fox Valley Special Recreation Association was formed in 1976 as an extension of the Fox Valley, Geneva, St. Charles, Batavia, Sugar Grove, and Oswegoland Park Districts, to provide a diverse range of year round recreational activities to enable residents with disabilities to experience active, healthy and playful lifestyles. Programs are designed to include opportunities that will enhance skill development and socialization, encourage self-awareness and community exploration, promote independence through personal choice of least restrictive environments, and provide a sense of enjoyment, satisfaction and fulfillment
Description
FVSRA provides year-round Therapeutic Recreation Services including General Programs, Special Olympics Sports, Leisure Education, Day Camp, Special Events, Travel Opportunities, Individualized Programming, and Social Programs. All participants receive a Therapeutic Recreation Assessment upon registering to assist with proper placement within FVSRA programs.
