Day Kimball Healthcare is now recruiting high school students for the 2019 Junior Volunteer Program. Students must be between the ages of 14 and 18 and have completed their first year of high school by the summer. The program requires an 8-hour day a week commitment for the summer. New Juniors participate in an 8 hour orientation to learn about hospital policies, how to use hospital equipment, and to become acquainted with the Returning Juniors.
Junior Volunteers assist staff in transporting patients, running errands, delivering newspapers to patients, and assisting various departments with clerical needs. Those interested can find our application on our website www.daykimball.org. The first 40 applicants will receive interviews. The deadline to apply is April 1st.
