Become a part of our volunteer team!!!! We need direct service volunteers to provide companionship to patients. A presence. We also need direct service volunteers to provide caregiver support. This volunteerism will allow caregivers to do errands or get some much needed rest while the volunteer visits with the patient. While you are visiting you can utilize a reflections book and scribe your patient's life. Patient's appreciate knowing someone is writing a book about them! Volunteers can also utilize games, puzzles, books, crafts as ways to engage with patients who are terminally ill. Mostly volunteers will hone their skill of listening and creating a calm atmosphere for their patient.
We need Administrative volunteers/Teen (17year olds ) for several different tasks. Administrative Volunteers help our clinical director, office supervisor and office staff by making copies, packets, filing and faxing documents. Administrative Volunteers have helped our bereavement coordinator assemble mail outs. Volunteers help with the organization and assembling of volunteer orientation packets. Volunteers help file volunteer request and documents in the chart as needed.
Retirees as Volunteers have helped organize and provide on-going auditing of volunteer personnel files, helped marketing staff by assembling marketing materials to be used in the field as needed. Volunteers have helped the office staff by faxing documents and filing. Volunteers have helped our bereavement coordinator with assembling bereavement mail outs. Your volunteerism will be the most rewarding experience you have ever had!

- 3 hours a week for a commitment of at least 1 yr.
- 12 hours of Training to on-board. Usually seperated into three different times.
