Making a choice to join our hospice VOLUNTEER TEAM can enrich your life and the lives of others.
Our hospice volunteers come from every walk of life. They play a crucial role within our team.
Our patient volunteers are able to provide quality, compassionate care through assistance with many challenges of a terminal illness.
Our volunteers offer companionship, respite care, office support and bereavement care.
Your only requirement is committing to 1 hour a week if you're visiting a patient and we keep you within 5 - 10 miles of your home. Please note that a 2-step TB test, drug screen, and background check are required for all Homestead Hospice volunteers. Volunteers are also asked to make at least a 6-month commitment to volunteer with us.
If you would like to volunteer in our office and help with administrative work instead, we can use your help and work out a schedule that is just right for you!
