Volunteers needed who have a compassionate, gentle heart. People who have ears that are trained to listen. People whose tongues flow with words of encouragement and support. People who are willing to journey alongside another to promote healing and wholeness in the aftermath of loss and grief. People who have experienced loss and can empathize with others. People who can commit to a monthly visit schedule for a 13 month time span.

Mission Statement
The mission of Hospice Services at Methodist ElderCare is to provide the best hospice care possible for patients located in the counties of Fairfield, Franklin. Pickaway, Delaware, Licking, Fayette, Union, and Madison.
Description
The philosophy of services focuses on maximizing the patients quality of life through an individualized comprehensive care program designed to meet his/her physical,social,emotional and spiritual needs (24) hours a day, (7) days a week. Care is provided by an interdisciplinary team of staff and volunteers. In addition, following the patients death, hospice continues to maintain contact with family members through a (13) month bereavement program.
