KidSmart Tutor
Time Commitment: At least 1 day per week for 1-3 hours
KidSmart is Bayshore Christian Ministries' after-school homework help and tutoring program for children in grades 1-5.
Tutors work one-on-one, or with a small group of students, aiding them in homework completion, required reading from selected books, and basic academic skill-building activities.
Program runs Monday through Thursday, 3:00- 6:30 pm, with recess at 4:00-4:45.

The mission of Hope Horizon East Palo Alto is to equip east-of-Bayshore youth to grow spiritually, gain life skills and develop as leaders so that they have hope and a future.
Description
Hope Horizon serves youth in the East Palo Alto community, meeting practical and spiritual needs through leadership training, spiritual development and life skills application. HH programs continue to grow and effectively serve over 200 youth participants each year in small group settings with individualized attention. Our programs are open to any youth in East Palo Alto, regardless of disability, race, religion or ethnic origin.
