Can you sing or play an instrument?
Music is an important part of any hospice program. Music often brings back fond memories, provides a release of emotions, and fills empty hours that a person might otherwise spend alone.
AseraCare Hospice volunteers are very special individuals. They have a strong sense of compassion and empathy for patients and families going through crisis, and they are willing to commit some of their time to helping provide a supportive, caring environment for our patients.
Please contact us if you have musical talent and would like to make a difference in someone's life. No formal training is necessary.

Description
Hospice is a program that provides care and support for people with life limiting illnesses. Nurses, social workers, hospice aides, chaplains and volunteers work together to provide individualized services. Hospice neither hastens nor prolongs death, but affirms life, emphasizes dignity, and enhances the quality of the remainder of a patient's life. Hospice adds life to days when days can no longer be added to life.
