South Bronx United, a non profit youth development organization, is seeking volunteers with Drupal expertise to help improve the community organization's website. All levels of support are welcome as there is a range of help that is needed from very small tasks that could be executed in a matter of hours to larger projects and/or maintenance. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated and help support South Bronx United's mission of using soccer tohelp youth build character, teamwork, and leadership so that they can succeed in high school, college, careers, their community and beyond!!

South Bronx United is a youth development organization that uses soccer as a tool for social change. Since 2009, the organization has grown into a community that includes over 100 volunteers, countless families, and more than 500 boys and girls who participate each year in education and character development programs, on six travel teams, and on 37 recreational teams. South Bronx United strives to promote educational achievement, health and wellness, and leadership through activities on and off the soccer field and to unite a diverse group of individuals and an incredibly diverse community toward common positive goals.South Bronx United uniquely combines soccer with education, mentoring, health and wellness promotion, and character development. In addition to the recreational and travel soccer programs, the organization runs an after school tutoring program during the school year, the Summer Soccer Scholars program, and college and career prep activities. Because of the connections both on and off the field, SBU youth form a unique and essential relationship with their coaches and support staff, providing them with a support network that is often missing at school or at home. Thanks to this bond and the educational programming in which all youth in travel teams participate, South Bronx United is able to help youth achieve personal and academic success.
