Easterseals Crossroads is looking for future, current, and former educators to provide one-on-one reading assistance to consumers of our Adult Day Services who have a desire to read. Our medically-based Adult Day Services program uses individual plans of care to provide a variety of health, social, recreational and therapeutic activities, supervision, support services, and personal care to adults with developmental disabilities. Volunteers will spend 15 to 30 minutes per session weekly with a consumer to work on building reading skills. Volunteers must keep regular weekly schedules. Activities and material will be provided.
