Help recruit volunteers and promote Edible Plant Project!
Assist Monthly Plant/Seed sale - adoption - trade at the Gainesville Downtown Farmer's Market. Sign up volunteers, we need friendly folks to handle all the interest and give personal attention at the farmer's market, our nursery, and various community events. We ask that you help the coordinator load and unload if you are physically able.
Have fun with us adopting plants & seeds, our primary fundraiser to cover costs & get them out there and network. Since we are limited on volunteers, it's our Monthly day. Almost all trees are only $4. 2 volunteer hours = 1 plant.
Downtown on at SW 2nd Ave in the parking lot between Market St and the Jones B Side.
Other vendors may want to barter some thing for plants that you earn from us. Track your hours which can be used for various community service. We are a 501c3 nonprofit - see our description.
Help needed primarily for volunteer recruitment, event promotion, education, demos, handing out material, helping with sales/adoptions.
