Volunteers serve as Outdoor Learning Center ambassadors in support of the Center’s mission. They act as Hosts for the Center’s monthly open houses and at a variety of other community events/festivals. Their key functions include answering questions about the center, leading tours of the Center , supporting set up for events, and acting as a representative of the Outdoor Learning Center.

The Inland Northwest Nature Connection in partnership with West Valley Outdoor Learning Center unite community and nature through education and recreation programs that cultivate an informed and engaged community.

Description

As an experiential education center, our goal is to connect students of all ages to nature. We do this through educational programs, special events, outreach programs like our Hawk and Owl Outreach Talks, and by the day-to-day care of the center’s grounds, buildings and educational animals that keep the OLC a must-see place for families, school groups and organizations.
