ORGANIZATION: Midwest Brain Injury Clubhouse

The Midwest Brain Injury Clubhouse is an organization located in the Illinois Medical District that helps adults with Traumatic and Acquired Brain Injuries. Our motto is "work is healing" so members of the Clubhouse come on a daily basis to do the work of the organization. Along with the work is recreational, art, and community integration activites.

We would love to have a volunteer come in regularly to help assist with these activities!

Mission Statement

Mission Statement: To provide life long rehabilitative services and support to those affected by brain injury or stroke.

Description

The Clubhouse is a unique place where individuals can come to relearn skills through the work of the day. We like to think of the Clubhouse as our home away from home and the folks here are like family. For many the Clubhouse is the next step in transitioning from a patient back into the real world.
