Volunteer activity is still on hold due to restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic, but we will update when this changes. Recruitment is ongoing as we would love to have new volunteers ready to go when we are!

We are accepting applications for Volunteers to serve in our Ronald McDonald Family Room located inside Presbyterian Hospital. Volunteers work in the Family Room greeting families, stocking food, maintaining the computer and laundry room sign in sheets and helping the families with anything they may need. The Family Room is open 7 days a week from 9-8pm IF we have Volunteer Coverage. Volunteers cover 2 or 3 hour shifts. Shifts are as follows: 9-12 pm, 12-3 pm, 3-6 pm, 6-8 pm.

Mission Statement

The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) is to create, find and support programs that directly improve the health and well being of children.

Ronald McDonald House Charities, a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) corporation, creates, finds and supports programs that directly improve the health and well being of children. Its grassroots-driven programs offer help where children need it most - right in their own communities. RMHC makes an immediate, positive impact on children's lives through its global network of local Chapters in 52 countries and regions and its three core programs: the Ronald McDonald House, Ronald McDonald Family Room and Ronald McDonald Care Mobile. These programs provide a bridge to accessible health care and allow families more time together, which helps in the healing process. RMHC and its global network of local Chapters also have hundreds of millions of dollars in grants and program services to children's programs around the world.
