The Fayette Humane Society is located in FAYETTEVILLE, GEORGIA. Our organization rescues cats, kittens, dogs and puppies who are owner surrendered, from local animal shelters and abandoned.
Our organization continues to maintain an aggressive spay/neuter program in order to decrease the domestic pet overpopulation.
We rely on Foster Caretakers to provide safe and loving homes to our rescue animals until the cat or dog is adopted. FHS provides food, vet care, shots and spay/neuter to all animals that are in a Foster Home.
We need volunteers to help us continue to be a successful Domestic Pet Rescue. Volunteer opportunities include: becoming a Foster Caretaker to our cats and/or dogs, work at FHS fundraisers, conduct food drives, do laundry, handle administrative tasks, work pet adoptions at the Peachtree City PetSmart and transport animals to/from adoptions and veterinary appointments.
FHS also coordinates with Fayette County Animal Control to participate in Trap/Neuter/Vaccinate/Return as the preferred solution to complaints about Feral community cats.
