Help the homeless- one step at a time! We are looking for volunteers to help us process shoes for one hour at our next shoe processing event. It will be held on SATURDAY, March 25, 2022 from 2-3 PM. The location is West LA College (Lot 7) located at 9000 Overland Ave, Culver City, CA 90230. Enter West LA College from Overland Avenue at Freshman Drive. Make a right at the 1st stop sign, which is Albert Vera Drive. Go past "Plant Services" and make a right into Lot 7. We will meet at the two large blue shipping containers.
Shoe processing is where we sort shoes, put a rubber band around each pair, put them in groups and then place them in bags. Family and friends are welcome. Kids will be eligible for 1 hour of community service. Please email us to receive a release of liability form at info@shoesforthehomeless.net. For more information call 800-394-8286 or go to our website: www.shoesforthehomeless.net. For a campus map click here: www.wlac.edu/transportation/index.aspx.
