Help support native pollinators! Join us in planting, weeding, and mulching projects to enhance this local garden. Weather allowing, we will also be making bee housing out of wood blocks and sunflower stems. If you have not volunteered with FOSC in the past year, please sign and bring the FOSC and City of Oakland volunteer waiver forms ( http://www.documents.sausalcreek.org/FOSC_City_Waiver.pdf). Anyone under 18 will also need a parental signature on both forms.

We meet on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month, 10 a.m. - noon.

The Friends of Sausal Creek will provide tools, gloves, and instruction. Bring water, sun protection, close-toed shoes, and wear long sleeves and long pants.

For more information, contact Kathleen Harris at kathalini@comcast.net or (415) 377-5576.

Directions to the Bridgeview Trail: From Hwy. 13 exit Park Blvd. and head towards the bay (west). From Park Blvd., make a left on Leimert Boulevard, southeastward, across the bridge. At the first stop sign, bear left, staying on Leimert. Go one block, turn left onto Bridgeview. It dead-ends at the trailhead.
