The United Arts Council a database to maintain and is seeking up to three reliable and detail-oriented volunteers who are willing to spend two or more hours per week on data research and entry. If you are a perfectionist who loves to see clean data and/or have the desire to see the arts thrive in Wake County, this position could be right for you.
Duties will include:
- receiving training in our system and conventions
- researching contacts currently in the database to ensure the most up-to-date information
- entering new information and overwriting and cleaning up old information
- researching targeted new contacts to enter into the database for the first time
- entering new contacts
- documenting how to enter and clean information for future staff and volunteers
Our database is cloud-based and duties can be performed from anywhere there is access to a computer with a browser. Training will take about an hour and will be conducted at United Arts' offices at 410 Glenwood Ave, Suite 170
