Animal Caregivers: Animal Caregivers are responsible for visiting the cats in the Howell Mill PetSmart adoption center, playing/socializing with the cats, cleaning litter boxes and giving them fresh food and water.
The animals that live full-time in the adoption center rely on the Animal Caregivers for their daily needs.
We welcome split shifts if necessary. Let us know if you can help for a limited period of time (for example, once a month) or only at a certain time of day (early morning or early evenings).
We have openings for AM and PM and all through out the day cagegivers and socializers. The more volunteers we have on site to speak with the public about our animals, the better chance we have of finding a home for our furry friends. Please fill out an applicaiton on line http://snap2it.org/volunteerapplication/ and come and help homeless animals find the perfect forever home.
SNAP 2 IT (Spay Neuter Assistance Program) (http://snap2it.org) SNAP is dedicated to curbing the dog and cat overpopulation problem in Georgia through making spay/neuter services widely available as possible.
Through the implementation of the county and local TNR programs and by helping to provide wellness services, rescue and adoption programs and education and outreach, we hope to reach our goal of saving lives and money.
We are a Georgia-based 501c3 non-profit organization sustained entirely from grants, donations and the generous and tireless work and support of our many volunteers.
SNAP 2 IT is looking for people like you who want to volunteer their time to help animals. There are many ways you can help and no amount of time is too small to offer.
