We are looking for business volunteers who can help run a days event we are hosting in a local secondary schools. The purpose of the morning is to prepare the students for the world of work . Through a combination of workshops including CV writing, Interview skills, Exploring business structures and more. This is an interactive session where business volunteers can give valuable assistance and provide more input than a teacher could to a class of 15-16yr olds. By providing a link between businesses and schools, Learning to Work creates opportunities to raise aspirations and develop the skills of today’s young people and have been providing this quality service to the world of education and business in the local area for over 20 years.

Description

We currently support over 30,000 children in the local area running curriculum events to assist local schools. The local area being Bracknell, Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead and Slough Borough. We reach out to support both Primary and Secondary education therefore age 4-19yrs. We look for corporate membership and school membership to fund the charitable organisation and have been running successfully for over two decades. We also survive off the generous volunteering offered by both individuals and corporations.
