Honoring Life ~ Offering Hope
Volunteers play a vital role in preserving each hospice patient's dignity while removing the fear associated with dying. Serving as a sewing or crafting volunteer will enrich your own life in ways you can't begin to imagine. Craft volunteers make items such as prayer shawls, afghans, pillow cases, pajamas, lap blankets and scrap books. These crafts bring great joy and comfort to the patients and families who receive them. We are particularly looking for folks who can sew. Our Memory Bear Program is a vital part of the care we provide to our grieving families. Using Simplicity pattern 5461- our Seamstresses create amazing Memory Bears for our patients loved ones. New craft ideas are always welcome and creativity is a plus. If you are interested in learning more about this volunteer opportunity please contact us. We look forward to hearing from you!!
