Do you like to spend your time outdoors, enjoy working with kids, and want to gain service learning hours??? Irvine Nature Center is seeking responsible youth leaders to volunteer for our Summer Nature Camp. Spend your time helping counselors deliver nature lessons, lead kids on hikes, and play fun games. The purpose of the training program is to provide leadership training for youth who love working with children in a camp environment and who are interested in future camp counseling. The program will provide youth leaders with hands on experience working with young campers and the opportunity to cultivate their skills & knowledge in the day camp setting and have a close involvement with the natural environment.
Work at least four weeks or the entire summer!

Description
Irvine Nature Center is a private, non-profit nature center located in Owings Mills, Maryland. We have 211 acres of woodlands, wetlands, and meadows that support a diverse population of wildlife. We provide more than 800 environmental education programs annually to roughly 95,000 individuals of all ages. Our goal is to expose people to the importance of environmental literacy and show those visiting our property the importance of environmental stewardship. We aim to teach a concern for the planet that translates into actions that help preserve our ecosystem and create a healthier planet!
