ORGANIZATION: Financial Health Pathways

  • 78 people are interested

The Financial Literacy Coalition of Central Texas (FLCCT) is seeking volunteers to assist a working Board of Directors. Future positions on the board are a possibility for committed volunteers.

The FLCCT presents free, unbiased financial education classes to people in the Greater Austin Area by partnering with other groups to teach their clients. Participants in FLCCT classes gain a better understanding of how to manage their personal finances. Most of our volunteers are the class teachers, who are trained in how to present the professionally developed class materials.

However, we also need help running the organization, including but not limited to:
* Fundraising: identifying and responding to grant opportunities and other sources of funding,
* Community Outreach: recruting new host partners and volunteers
* Public Relations: creating communications materials and addressing public groups
* Technology: improving processes and automating activities

If any of these activities interests you, please contact us today!

In an effort to reach all of Central Texans, we are always looking for volunteers from a variety of cultural backgrounds. Working with FLCCT can provide a valuable opportunity to make a difference while building your skill set. We welcome all experience levels. Get in touch with an appropriate board member (see the website www.flcct.org) or simply send an email to info@flcct.org describing how you envision working with us. We will try to make volunteering with FLCCT rewarding for both you and the community.
