We offer tech-savvy, energetic volunteers the chance to serves as a Teachers Assistant in our computer literacy class with learning, passionate adult students. The T.A. will help students build basic computer skills and gain confidence in their use of technology. Our volunteers are instrumental in empowering students and preparing them for the ever-changing world. We need just 2 hours a week from our volunteer on any day the computer literacy class is held Monday through Thursday.

Needs:

Tues, Weds, or Thurs, 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. (Computer Open Lab Assistant)

Tues, Weds, or Thurs, 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. (Computer Lit Class T.A.)

Responsibilities

Be prepared to assist students with one on one help in an open lab setting.

Be prepared to assist our Computer Literacy instructor in managing a classroom setting and serving as a floating instructor giving one on one student aid.

Qualifications

Over 18 years old.

Bilingual

Volunteer two hours a week

Semester Long/20 Week commitment

Provide copy of resume and two professional references

Accepting of other cultures and beliefs
