ROAR Children’s Homework Helper Children’s and Teen Homework Helpers assist youth (grades 1-6) with assigned homework in the Library’s after-school Homework Centers. 16 years of age and older. Assist children with specific homework assignments and serve as a positive role model.

The ideal volunteer will have good customer service and communication skills, patience, and enthusiasm for working with others. Must be able to commit to keeping scheduled hours. The homework center is open from September through June. The homework center is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Wednesdays 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
