Are you Compassionate and Caring? Jewish Senior Services is looking for you to join The Chaifetz Family Hospice Team as a Volunteer.

How can a Jewish Home Hospice Volunteer help?

Hospice volunteers can be a friend and calming presence during a time of crisis, just someone to talk to. Hospice volunteers assist with activities both in our facility and in the community such as journaling, writing letters, reading, providing a break for family or a simply just holding someone's hand. For patients, sometimes the hospice volunteer becomes a "friend" to someone who is alone and has no family or friends. If this sounds like you contact Ellen Ashkins at eashkins@jseniors.org or call her at 203 365-6417.
