Would you like to ensure homebound, disabled seniors have nutritious food available to them? Through our Healthy Options Program for the Elderly (HOPE), we provide monthly supplemental food tailored to improve the health and nutrition of our neighboring seniors. We are recruiting dependable driver(s) that are needed once a month to deliver pre-packaged groceries from Brazosport Cares to our senior clients in the Lake Jackson, Clute, and Freeport area. Deliveries, only a few per volunteer, are usually on a T or Th morning, but this could be flexible. Thank you for considering serving our seniors!
Please reach out to Carolina Aguilar at 979.239.1225 or volunteer@brazosportcares.org for inquiries. Volunteers for this role must pass a background check.

Mission Statement
Feeding Brazosport's hungry through food distribution, education, collaboration, and advocacy.
Description
Our mission is to feed Brazosport’s hungry through the distribution of food, education, collaboration and advocacy. We are all-volunteer and have been an active community member of the community for 30 years. Consider that one in ten individuals in Brazoria County lives below the poverty level. Caught between rising prices and tight budgets, families face the choice between affording food or other basic needs. At Brazosport Cares Food Pantry we envision a hunger-free community in which everyone has reliable access to affordable and nutritious food.
