If you love organization, people, clothes, and helping those in need, this is the right volunteer experience for you!
The Incentive Store is much like a retail store, but instead of cash, Community Action participants use points they have earned in their respective programs in exchange for goods. Participants earn points through completing goals toward long-term economic self-sufficiency in their respective programs
You will be able to assist with operation of the Incentive Store by accepting donations, sorting and discarding donations as required; hanging, folding, stocking and washing donations as needed.
You will have the opportunity to provide amazing customer service by answering questions, assisting participants, checking out, entering bonus points into the computer database, and bagging items. Cleaning, dusting, vacuuming and other cleaning is also necessary (I know, bummer).
This is a great opportunity if you're wanting to learn about retail and gain experience in a fun environment. Flexible schedule between the hours of M-Th; 9:00a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
