With 3,500 acres of gardens and grounds, Holden Arboretum provides visitors and members with countless opportunities to discover and connect with nature throughout the growing season. Our Highlights tours are offered April through November and provide an overview of Holden Arboretum history, gardens, collections and natural areas with special emphasis on seasonal highlights.
Our volunteer guides bring their enthusiasm, warmth and knowledge to provide an interesting and informative walking tour. Guides will provide roaming interpretation of the Arlene and Arthur S. Holden Jr. Butterfly Garden, lead the free one hour Highlights tour out to the Kalberer Emergent Tower, and then provide roaming interpretation of the display garden.
Shifts are typically Saturdays and Sundays, 1-4pm, April - October. Additional times and days may be available for private tours.
