Ensure accuracy of book narration recordings for our visually-impaired library customers. Operate computer equipment during book recording session. Listen for narrator inconsistencies and locate proper point on soundtrack for correction. Ensure that presentation reflects intent of the text. Label soundtracks accurately.

Mission Statement
The goal of the Talking Book & Braille Center, a bureau of the New Jersey State Library and affiliate of Thomas Edison State College, is to serve people who cannot efectively read standard print because of a visual impairment, learning disability,or physical disability,and to create opportunities for life-long learning and literacy through free provision and promotion of accessible materials. Our vision is for all New Jerseyans to have free and equal access to the types of materials available in public libraries.

free library of downloadable audiobooks, magazines and braille, free audiobook player and audiobooks delivered to your home, The Get Together Book Club, available on-site and by conference call, and so much more!
