HarmonyCares Hospice is looking for a motivated office volunteer who is looking to gain knowledge and experience in the medical field.
You will be working directly with HarmonyCares Hospice staff working on projects, creating packets, sorting patient charts, answering phones, and other clerical task within an office setting.

Description
HarmonyCares Hospice of Lansing provides patients with a terminal illness, with a life expectancy of 6 months or less, the specialized care needed at end of life. Volunteers provide a wide range of activities across several counties including Ingham, Shiawassee, Clinton, Jackson, and Eaton. Volunteers can sign up to provide companionship, emotional support, supportive presence, light housekeeping, lawn/ pet care, and MUCH MUCH MORE!

- Our office is open Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. All time commitments are based on your availability and schedule.
- Since we are working with an at risk population, volunteers will be required to undergo a drug screening, TB testing, fingerprinting, and background check. All testing is set up and paid for by HarmonyCares Hospice.(Ages 14-17 excluded from testing )
