Manna Project International (MPI) is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that fosters communities of talented young leaders to become the next generation of social change agents by engaging in collaborative, on-the-ground service with international communities in need. Operating international sites in Nicaragua and Ecuador, MPI enlists groups of 5, 7, and 13-month volunteers, as well as Summer Interns and Spring Break Groups, who live and work together to implement a variety of community development programs focused on improving health, education and livelihoods. For more information, visit www.mannaproject.org.
MPI Summer Internship Program:
MPI offers a 4 to 8 week Summer Internship Program, in which interns assist the Program Directors in planning and leading programs in Ecuador or Nicaragua. Interns use their skills and interests to determine the programs with which they work. The Internship Program focuses on expanding interns' knowledge about community development, non-profit management, on-site programming, and personal and interpersonal development. Interns also have the opportunity to explore the country through weekend trips and cultural excursions.
