Office Receptionist volunteers to be the face of the organization.
The main activity is providing a warm and friendly greeting of visitors and answering phones: transferring calls and answering questions.
Some light filing, outgoing calls, or computer tasks may be available at times. Could also do light cleaning, dusting, vacuuming (not required). Primary role is managing phones and greeting guests.
Activity level varies from multiple calls coming in at once to periods without any callers (might bring a book for unpredictible slow times). Adjusts to your schedule, any time you can give frees up staff to devote to our mission. Your engaging personality helps us win strong Habitat Supporters (donors, volunteers, happy families).
2 hour shifts suggested. Office is open 9a-4:30p Mon-Fri. (Thursday 9a-1p is filled).

- Must be at least 18
- 2 hour shift weekly (could be more)
- Ability to hear and speak clearly on the phone. Warm, friendly demeanor
